Industry leader Steven Sless runs the branch located in Owings Mills
OWINGS MILLS, Md. (July 8, 2019) – Primary Residential Mortgage, Inc. (PRMI) is introducing a new concept in Maryland. The lender recently opened its first consumer-direct retail branch dealing exclusively with reverse mortgages in Owings Mills.
PRMI Reverse Mortgage Division Manager Steven J. Sless (NMLS: # 298581 MLO: # 49963) oversees the office located in Boulevard College Center at 10995 Owings Mills Blvd., Ste. 216, Owings Mills, Md. 21117.
“Senior home owners will have a much better experience engaging with staff who fully understand their specific needs and can offer the appropriate tools to assist them,” Sless said. “I’m thrilled to launch the reverse mortgage only office concept in Owings Mills and expand our footprint regionally through strategic and organic growth.”
Sless and Operations Manager Andrew Parker are currently seeking a loan processor, as well as additional loan originators to join them at the Steven J. Sless Group at PRMI in Owings Mills.
“Our commitment to helping customers utilize the benefits of reverse mortgages is only augmented by the addition of Steve and his team,” said PRMI President of Retail Chris Jones. “Steve’s experience is invaluable, and we can’t wait to see where this partnership takes us.”
Bringing 16 years of industry experience, Sless most recently launched a reverse mortgage division for US Mortgage Corporation and built a curriculum to teach originators about the product.
Through the years, Sless has become “the go-to housing wealth leader” among industry media and has built a reputation as a powerful speaker and communicator. Along with educating traditional loan originators working at PRMI’s 270 branches nationwide about reverse mortgages, Sless will continue to present seminars and learning workshops for consumers, their family and trusted advisors.
“It is education first – teaching how the strategic use of home wealth, by way of a reverse mortgage, can protect and preserve their retirement portfolio to ensure they don’t outlive their money,” Sless said. “My goal is to dispel myths and common misperceptions about reverse mortgages and show seniors how to achieve peace of mind by helping them to secure the retirement they deserve.”
“We’re providing liquidity, accessibility and flexibility for seniors who want to age in place and have a better lifestyle – whether it’s retrofitting their homes, buying new homes or increasing cash flow to pay for medical expenses and maintain their standard of living,” he added.
